Meet Tim – our founder and creative director
Tim is a hands-on creative with more than 20 years’ experience, an expert eye for detail and takes pride in each and every Insite image.
Tim was handed his first camera at the age of 5 and it was love at first ‘click’. No one was surprised when 16-year-old Tim’s first job was at a photography studio in Surry Hills. He still remembers the smell of darkroom chemicals, assisting on a shoot with Jack Nicholson, and learning from the best photographers in Sydney.
Working with global brands and creative agencies to produce best in class imagery, Tim has established himself as a photographer with a reputation. A reputation as a trusted client partner, strategic advisor and someone who always delivers premium photographic content. Tim continued to demonstrate his experience and intimate understanding of the photographic industry, building his own successful production agency that has been running for over a decade.
Insite Imagery
Fast-forward 20 years and Tim saw the shift towards CGI and 3D render. It was whilst consulting on a client’s 3D render campaign that Tim recognised the challenges that they were facing – the render images just weren’t as realistic as they should or could be.
The aha! moment… realising that applying the key principles of photography would deliver truly photo-realistic imagery.
He was right, and Insite Imagery was born.
Today, Insite Imagery is a team of 3D artists and animators, professional retouchers, video editors and photographers. Using our real-world photographic experience and photographer’s eye, Insite creates high quality product, lifestyle and 360 CGI that are truly photo realistic. Tim remains hands-on, providing clients with confidence for a smooth end-to-end experience of image consultancy and production support.
